2020 marks the 10-year anniversary of the Capstone Group which consists of an advisory arm and an independent audit firm which is authorised and approved to conduct statutory and non-statutory audits in Malta.

Industry specific, high level advisory and business consultancy is provided to both local overseas individuals and companies. Capstone offers personalised, specialist and swift assistance in all the stages in the development of our clients’ businesses – from company incorporation and related services, through to liquidations. A particular area of specialisation is in the field of online remote gaming.

Lara Baron, who has been part of the Group since its inception, was recently appointed Audit Manager, cementing her position within the core management team.  Lara is exceptionally well versed in using her wide experience and versatility of character to mentor and provide guidance to various departments in the Group.  She is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and an Associate member of the Malta Institute of Accountants. Throughout her career, Lara has gained deep insight into various industries, in particular the gaming industry where she has served and managed engagement for large gaming companies. Lara also serves as an internal auditor to licensed entities in her personal capacity. She leads the gaming unit and client requirements that include ensuring compliance requirements are met and providing system audits.  Core management functions within various departments also fall within the remit of Lara’s responsibilities, namely delivery of quality services, client relationship management together with underlying management of team dynamics, operations, and innovation.
